Debi is the Founder and Owner of Wish Upon a Star with Us. She started helping families as a hobby and became known to many as “the Disney lady.” When she later formed the company, she already had many loyal families that called her year after year to help plan their trips. Debi has been to Disney World more times than she can count, visits Disneyland as frequently as she can, and is a Platinum Member of Disney Cruise line because she has sailed over ten times on the Disney ships. As a mother to four children, one of which has special needs, she also has unique experiences with Disney destinations helping families with challenges , those that need Sign Language interpretation, or special assistance in the parks. My name is David and my Disney story began when I was twenty-four. Growing up, I always wondered what a Disney park was like and eventually I fulfilled that dream. When I first heard we were going to Disneyland, I was worried I was too old to enjoy myself. That was until the moment I arrived in front of the train station, listening to the Disneyland band welcome the first guests of the day. It was in that instant that I was overwhelmed with joy and began to cry. My love for Disney began when I was a child. I went to Disneyland for a day when I was 5 years old. Even at 5, I knew that it was a special place. As I got older, my love for all things Disney continued to grow. When our boys were 4 and 6 we decided to surprise them with a trip to Walt Disney World. I had never been and I could hardly contain my excitement…I will never forget pulling up to the All Star Movies resort and my boys realizing where we were. The look of excitement brought tears to my eyes as we explained that we were spending a week at the “Happiest Place on Earth.” That week was the most magical week, as we experienced so many Magical moments together as a family. I was born and raised most of my life outside New Orleans, LA. I moved to St. Louis over 10 years ago. I used to teach preschool and Kindergarten before I got married.
