Disney World Online Check-In Service

Disney World Online Check-In Service

Ten days before your arrival to your Disney World Resort Vacation, you can take advantage of Disney’s Online Check -In Service.  This feature allows you to prefill information so that when you arrive at the resort it makes the check in process go quicker and smoother.  There is a separate line for those guests that have already done their check-in online and even though the line may look longer than the regular line, it will move much faster for you!  These steps below will walk you through the online check-in process. When you go to www.mydisneyreservation.com/guest the is the screen that will appear.  You will need to fill in your confirmation number, last name, date of resort arrival, and the name of your resort.  All this can be found on the confirmation that you have received from Disney or your travel agent. The next screen will confirm your reservation and ask if you want to add any celebrations.  Your travel agent may have already done this for you, but you can click to add them yourself too.   The Celebration screen will allow you to name your celebration and then give more specifics about it.Don’t be alarmed if you see this next screen often and for an extended length of time.  Tinkerbell flies to let you know that Disney’s systems are connecting with you and working to store your information. This next part of the online check-in allows you to link your credit card to your room account so that you can charge back any expenses to your room.  This is a great feature because Disney will provide to you a printout showing all charges that you have made, plus if for any reason your room key is lost they can cancel all charging privileges immediately.  This is a much better solution when you are on vacation than losing your actual credit card and realizing you never wrote down that toll free number on the back to call if you lost your card!  Disney’s new My Magic+ will change the way some of the tracking takes place.  With the new system guests will utilize a wrist band and a PIN number for charges, but for now, many guests are still using the current key system. Be aware that while you are filling out the online questions it will ask you about special requests.  If you have a travel agent that has already put in special requests for you, they will NOT show up in this area.  Do not worry about putting your requests here if your agent has already taken care of them on your reservation originally.  Also, if you have flights listed for Magical Express, these times will be defaulted to midnight.  Again, do NOT worry about this.  It is just the fact that these two Disney systems are not sharing information in the way we expect them to.  Rest assured, the Magical Express has your flight information and knows exactly what time your plane is landing and whether it has been delayed.  This particular online check-in system will not reflect some of those details.  Once you have finished the check-in and submitted your email address, you will immediately receive an email from Disney confirming your online check-in is completed.  Congratulations!  You will be arriving at Disney World in less that 10 days!  If you have any questions about this process, you can email us at info@wishuponastar2.wpengine.com for assistance
Wishing you a trip filled with magical memories and lots of pixie dust!
