Disney’s Bay Lake Tower
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is part of the Disney Vacation Club Villas. There are Deluxe Studio, One-bedroom, Two-bedroom, and Three-bedroom Grand Villas available with some of the most dramatic views available anywhere at Walt Disney World Resort. These spacious villas are furnished with contemporary pieces, such as the pull-out pantry in the kitchen and the sliding doors in the bathrooms. Bay Lake Tower is within a short walking distance to the Magic Kingdom.
The restaurants, a health club, tennis courts and other recreational facilities are shared with Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The crescent-shaped Tower is connected by a convenient (and covered) Sky Way Bridge, accessible only with a Bay Lake Tower room key. It links the Tower to the shops, restaurants and monorail station in the original Contemporary Resort.
In addition to the pool, with its 148-foot-long water slide, there is the Community Hall, where ping-pong, foosball and video games are available as well as equipment for basketball, tennis and shuffleboard. Check the chalkboard in the children’s area, located in the main lobby, for games and crafts offered by the recreation team. Children will also enjoy the nightly Electrical Water Pageant that floats through the waters of Bay Lake.
