Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party

Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party

written by Kim Inman, specialist in Disney Destinations from St. Louis, MO

Does a reserved table with a great view of the Magic Kingdom “Wishes” fireworks and unlimited desserts and beverages sound like a great experience?   If so, then the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party will be your next entertainment choice!

What do you get?

  1. A buffet of amazing desserts!  Help yourself to plates full of pastries, cookies, chocolate-covered strawberries, fruit, cheesecakes, ice cream and other delicious desserts.  A variety of refreshing hot and cold beverages are available including water, iced tea, lemonade, milk, hot tea and coffee.
  2. A reserved table just for your party.
  3. An exclusive view of Celebrate the Magic show and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular that fills the sky over Cinderella Castle.  You can view the fireworks from your table or stand at the edge of the covered patio to get a closer look.  Don’t miss Tinker Bell as she flies right over head!

Information you should know!

The Fireworks Dessert Party is available most nights and begins one hour prior to the nighttime spectacular.

This location can accommodate most special dietary needs.  Please note this during your reservation.

Park admission to Magic Kingdom Park is required.

The Disney Dining Plan is not currently accepted.

Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) are highly recommended as seating is limited.   Seating for walk-ups may be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Like most dining reservations, this one can be made 180 days prior to your visit.  Contact your travel agent and one of us can make this reservation for you!

The cost is typically $25 per adult (ages 10+) and $13 per child (ages 3-9).  The price varies by date and you can’t get an exact price until time of booking.

Prepayment is required at time of reservation.  Cancellations can be made 24 hours in advance.

The tables are assigned and will have a name tag on them.  A cast member will sign you in, put a bracelet around your wrist, and walk you to your table.  There’s no reason to arrive any more than 15 minutes early.

Make sure you are on the Tomorrowland side of Main Street before the Electrical Parade steps off or you will get stranded and won’t be able to cross until the parade is over!

You can see the Electrical Parade from the terrace.  It’s not ideal but you can see the tops of the floats and hear the music.

If you decide to move to the terrace railing to view the fireworks, make sure you find a spot where the ceiling overhang does not block your view of the fireworks.  I found moving more towards the left of the terrace gives the best unobstructed view!  Most guests do stand at the railing for a better view and start lining up about 20 minutes before Wishes begins.  Also note you cannot take a chair to the railing.

Enjoy your next evening at the Fireworks Dessert Party!
